Even though I am not a fan of pictures of dead trains, or boats, the way their lines lead off 'in to the sunset' is appealing. Their prime is over, the sun is setting on their lives. (I don't know whether this looks west, or east in to the sunrise, but the sunset thought remains)

Sorry about that last comment. I was hoping it would be intercepted. ANyway, the gist of my previous comment was that I got curious, found that this photo is looking west, and if you look at the google sat view, there is an old 360 degree roundhouse (somewhat converted it appears), west of this location:
