This train would be crossing 2nd Ave, just north of 39th St in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. This location is one of the only connections between the Subway and the national rail network, and is often where new railcars are delivered! The building at far left still exists on the southwest corner of the intersection, though now it has been painted black. Surprisingly those are not streetcar tracks that N2 is crossing, but rather the tracks of the former Bush Terminal Railroad, which was a freight railroad that had extensive street trackage in the area serving warehouses, piers, and carfloats. Many remnants of these tracks remain today, but have not seen a train in quite some time!
