The large former CB&Q station was replaced by an attractive but much smaller depot in 1984. An image search will find postcard views of the spacious old waiting room as well as exterior views.

VERY curious about the lead car in this consist. Yellow with a brown "window stripe ?" Milwaukee ?? Does not look like anything I recall having ever seen.

The "window stripe" is the shadow of the platform canopy falling on the train.
