I have no idea why BNSF has sold off some of the locomotives. Unless they were worn down to the bone, I don't see any reason.

The group of former BNSF B23-7s including this one in the pic have been running over these miles for nearly 15 years already. Montreal, Maine & Atlantic had the group of 2000-2006, and most continued into CMQ when they took over. 2000 was sold while 2005 is now used as a parts source. 2001+2002 run on CMQ's Rockland Branch while the others can be found most everywhere else, system wide.
