I'll second Carl's comment above - imagine seeing that locomotive way back in 1937 surrounded by steam locomotives which would continue to be built decades into what was then the future. Fast forward to 2017, it's still more appealing and futuristic in appearance than 90% the utilitarian equipment in service today. Nice catch, Doug! The Museum's equipment is so much more impressive when viewed outdoors.
