John, I believe the setup with the wireless controls is set only to it. If you move the physical controls on the engine, it will disrupt the signal on the remote.

Okay. I get what you are saying. I just wonder why the engineer prefers the remote over the actual locomotive controls.

John; much of the time, Jim is on the ground or in the loader using the remote. When he’s in the cab, it’s just easier to keep it in remote.
