Philip - nice capture of some really old power. Love the photo and the location you chose to frame it. I remember for the past couple of years these two locomotives were "hiding" behind a 6 feet tall fence along the Ohio Railway Museum's mainline - outside the George Silcott Railway Equipment & Salvage shop building just North of Columbus in Worthington, Ohio. I had seen quite a few "foamers" and rail buffs clambering all over the area and trespassing on private and railroad property to try to snap a photo of these two units as they sat on that property for as long as they did. To respond to the above comment: Rich Brown - They may be ratty looking now, but you should have seen them when they were on George Silcott property. These units would be considered NEW compared to the condition they were in when the folks at GS Railway first received them. 1304 still has cardboard covering the Fireman's window now, but at GS - that whole side plate / panel from the bottom of the window to just above the frame was completely GONE and it was a gaping hole. Note the nose and side of the cab on 1306 and how "shiny" and "new" it looks - well, there was no nose when it first arrived at GS in Worthington, Ohio If I had a locomotive that needed salvaged, and I had the money to spare - I'd send it to the folks at George Silcott Railway Equipment & Salvage in Worthington, Ohio for the work to be done. They've done a FANTASTIC job on these two units. I'm happy to see they are heading for a new home. I look forward to seeing future photos of these units posted here on RailPictures.net. So don't disappoint folks, get some photos of these units when they start their new life with the Stourbridge Railroad.
