Wild - never knew Nickel Plate No. 759 was dressed up at N&W while on excursions. Thanks for sharing this one, and, of course, all of Roger's nostalgic photographs!

759 pulled the N&W's last passenger train before Amtrak. That is the reason for the name.

Even though N&W used their own Roanoke Shops to build their steam power, it's neat to see what a Lima built Berk would have looked like had the N&W had one on their roster. I think a Berk would have fit right in on the N&W.
