I'm just not a fan of the devolving looks of passenger power these days...F40's are downright sharp looking compared to these latest Euro-wonders.

I agree, I would rather have an ET44AC so the crews can get on and off with ease and machinists can service the power on the walkways. If the passenger rails used freight style power, it would be easier to lease or sell them when the time comes and parts would be easier to get during its life cycle. Radial trucks eliminate the C-truck restrictions of old.
