It looks suspiciously like a CSX cab that has had the roof extended to full length. Nice catch.

Roof hasn't been extended - the enclosed area has been shortened. Appears to be of standard caboose length.

As best I can see from digging around on the internet, it does look like they extended the platform on both ends. Also, you may be able to see the "bench" seat they have on each of the ends as well. Nice Charleston style bench at that!

I was able to get in contact with a member of Palmetto Railways and he provided this info: The caboose was originally built for the L&N in 1981. The number series was between 6600-6649. Hope this helps some!
