Posted by cavranger on April 5, 2017  Ponder this....the railroad sells a locomotive to the scrappers, then scraps the locomotives, sells the scrap, then loads the material into gondolas, and pays the railroad to move the scrap to the company that bought it. I'd say NS made a little money on this....but it is sad to see the old C40's go..
