Excellent view and a welcome history! Amazing just how large the shops were - way, way back at the turn of the century. Strange to see houses built so close by!

OK, some one with the ability needs to buy the first house on the left and open up a railfan's bed and breakfast. I'm guessing the upstairs rooms would get a pretty profitable rate!

Yes indeed, lots to see here. Looks like everything comes in on the 3rd track from the left, and then gets fanned out from there (and here I thought turntables were always run through). I'm guessing those ponds on the left are some type of oil/water treatment facility? Can't imagine the amount of smoke, sounds, and smells the neighbors must have experienced during the time of steam. Neat photo...drone shot?

Looks to be a Covered Wagon in the middle of the pic near the shop building - mint green and white. Any ideas who's that may be?
