The NH had another two-headed AC/DC locomotive before the EP-5. Does anyone know anything about it?

Yes, you're thinking of NH class EP-4, six double-ended cab style passenger electrics (0361-0366) delivered by GE in 1938. I don't have any photos of them myself except in a scrapyard, but there are shots on line if you do a search. The last EP-4 was retired in 1961 after delivery of the second batch of FL9s.
The NH also had ten AC-only freight electrics with a similar carbody, class EF-3. Units 0150-0154 were built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in 1942 and 0155-0159 by GE in 1943. These were all retired in the late 1950s.
