What a pretty id say. Nice catch Tom. Looks as if it wood be a pretty ride alongside the river and all the little towns along the way. I'm curious to its route. That color looks great on the leading loco , its so out front. Does this line still exist and who runs it nowadays ? Could someone clue me in. Those riverbanks over yonder look like a good place to drop a line and watch some trains roll by . Then pull out the fried chicken an tater salad and pickled beets and relax. Then a nibble and another and all of a sudden a fish is challenging your cleverness . I am smarter then this fish or I aint smarter then that dumb fish. Aloha .

Thanks! Yes, that is a pretty spot. At the time I took the photo, the track was owned by the Central Vermont Railway and shared by the B&M through longstanding trackage rights. These days, the line is still active, owned by CV successor New England Central, and you can ride it daily on Amtrak's Vermonter.
