Posted by Rich Brown on February 18, 2017  Even though those Cab-Control units weren't REAL FAs, I STILL miss them. I believe the crews would rather operate from the safety of that solid Alco body than a "phonebooth" in the leading end of a coach. I have to disagree about paint schemes though, my favorite is still the the dark grey with orange ends and curved sidestripe that the Alco C-420s were delivered in.
