Love the little details like the marker for ATSF vs. Rio Grande railroad maintenance. Note also the Palmer Lake sign above the rail-side shack. The EMD rental units with the Gates tank are themselves a moment forgotten in time. Excellent illustration of 1989 railroading on the Front Range!
