I remember those Washington sections of the Broadway well; for a short train, it often had interesting equipment. In the photo, the sleeper is a former B&O "Bird" series duplex roomette/double bedroom sleeper, and car behind it is a former NYC "stream" series 6 double bedroom buffet lounge. At other times, the train carried a former B&O Capitol Limited/Ambassador 5 double bedroom, buffet-lounge observation, or a former NKP 5 double bedroom buffet lounge.
