This looks like a job for the transition sleeper car! I have no idea why a superliner would be in DC in the first place. But why a sightseer lounge? This is certainly an unusual sight.

The Capitol Limited (trains 29/30) use Superliner equipment and usually has a sightseer lounge on it. I say usually because for some reason trains 29/30 run with a shorter consist more and more frequently. A lot of times when it has the shorter consist that consists of a transition sleeper, regular sleeper, coach & coach baggage, the usual diner & sightseer lounge is substituted for a single cross country cafe car which is just a combination Superliner Diner/Lounge so the train will be missing the baggage car, sightseer lounge, and the 2nd P42.
