Hate to ask, but were you the only one trespassing? Looks to definitely be RR property where you are standing.

Kyle, so true. Not only are they on the shady side, but they have that sharp angle, plus they miss the station. Very nice shot.

@Greg, it isn't trespassing when you work for the railroad that owns the tracks, especially when your boss is ok with it, too.

Well that's OK for you but the rest of them would be trespassing so I don't think it is fair to call them out. I'm not sure what is tolerated at Durand, but in many places the police would be called. There are places I used to go 20 years ago that I would not go to today. I think people are really cautious these days....

I was not calling them out, it was an observation of when the train came through and where the sun was and how I used my access to get a somewhat unfair advantage to those who were taking photos over there. Only a couple of them were taking pictures like me, and they were well down on the opposite end of the platform at the time, these were all just casual watchers. I literally copy and pasted this note from my Flickr, where a majority of the people who follow me know I work for CN and use my access regularly.
