What a real grande ride on the Rio Grande Railroad. Leaving Grand Junction headed west the train rolls thru a few little towns and heads thru Ruby Canyon along the Colorado River and then thru some awesome looking cliffs along the river that make you think your in the prehistoric era or 1,000,000 years B.C. movie set and a T-Rex is about to pick you off the train or you see Raquel W. and want 2 jump off the train to assist in her survival. Incredible desolation out there and the rail and the river are the only way thru the Ruby Canyon and its spectacular. Do we miss the Rio Grande Railroad and its Cabooses or what , I sure do.
