How did they position the loco for the last Lausanne-Montreux segment ? Is there a serviceable turntable in/near Lausanne ? Or is there a connection/ junction to take a train from near Lausanne heading west to the line heading south to Montreux ( onward to Brig) ?

The 01 202 ran tender first from Lausanne to Montreux (and Villeneuve). In the evening, there was all chimney first from Montreux via Lausanne-Yverdon-Neuchâtel-Biel to Lyss.
