Thanks for the interesting history of the Hahn Motor Co. I always wondered where the Hahn Fire apparatus was made.

Being the old fart that I am, there is for me, so much missing from railfanning today. Country depots, cabooses, and 3 things that are found in this photo. Boxcars from individual railroads, no graffiti, and open door boxcars. As a child back in the late 60's and early 70's I dreamed of taking a bus to Caribou, Maine, jumping in a boxcar, and riding to Bangor. Practically growing up at the depot in Newport, Me. I rode the trains frequently, but I never got to live the dream of just being a hobo for a day or 2. I still think about it, but even if the doors were open, I am afraid this fat tired old body could not even dream of climbing aboard. Still given the opportunity, I think I might try. Just call it, a line from my bucket list. Oh yes, lest I forget, Mr Lilly, I truly enjoy the older photos that you share with us. Thank you.
