If it ain't broke, don't fix it! Some of those Lakers (no not Kobe or Shaq) have been around a long time. It really speaks to their usefulness and durability. The Great Lakes are a true Economic Superhighway and absolutely invaluable to the United States and Canada.

If my memory serves me right, the Arthur M. Anderson, piloted by Bernie Cooper, was 10 miles behind the Edmund Fitzgerald back when the Fitx sank in Lake Superior. 46 years later, she's still delivering taconite.
