The cribbing you speak of stabilizes the load to keep it centered on the car. I see nothing under the main center part unless it is cradled by spacers.

The cribbing you speak of stabilizes the load to keep it centered on the car. I see nothing under the main center part unless it is cradled by spacers. The main center part is not supposed to have anything under it. Supporting the assembly by the main part of the rotor would invite certain damage to a very expensive component. The two stacks of heavy timbers are indeed supporting the load, which is suspended by its shaft in the two yokes at the tops of those heavy stacks.
