My apologies for any ignorance here, but, I can find no information on any recent derailments. When did this occur? I thought there was an 8505 that was a rebuilt Dash8-40C , re-built into a Dash 8.5 and was just out running in Pennsylvania last week but with the new NS-designed cab still in primer. Is this an old accident?

Luke, it's alright! This locomotive was involved in a derailment July 14, 2015 in Chattanooga TN it collided with a dumper truck. Now the Dash 8.5 you seen was NS 8508 which I was told it's not on the active roster.
