The 3 phase electrical system is interesting. Your photo clearly shows the divided pantograph contact surfaces. Do you have any photos that illustrate how junctions/points are handled? Thanks.

Above points/switches, the pantograph is pushed down a little by an isolated aluminium pole. The second pantograph is then making connection solely. See here http://www.railpictures.net/photo/516922/
