The scenery is spectacular - enjoying these from Jean-Marc and yourself! And at the same time, thinking - better you than me! If I recall correctly, you were not on the tour? Jean-Marc mentioned the need (or strongly encouraged) need for a permit to photograph trains - perhaps - anything in Iran. Would love to hear more about your experience in Iran (with or without a permit). Would make for a great magazine story (let us know!), and perhaps a short synopsis here in the comments section.
