Thank you for this photo. I love the fact that in addition to capturing a passing CSX freight on the far shore, and the breeze is unfurling Ole Glory, the flagpole is a homemade honor to a fallen soldier. To me, a more manufactured site wouldn't have the charm and patriotism that this has.

Sisko, I hiked up the trail in predawn hours and made the summit in complete darkness and didn't know the flag was there but could hear the rustling of cloth in the air so I took my gear off and followed the sound. Upon finding the flag I was glad there was a steady brisk breeze as I too liked the flow of the flag as it added so much to the scene in the wind but usually I'm not a fan of much wind when taking video along with the shots. Thanks for the comment too.
