Charles, you would be right about that RDC being part of the Roger Williams set. As I recall from commuting on MARC in those days, the interior of the car was noticeably different also. The end cab units went from PC to Amtrak in 1971 and were used primarily on the New Haven - Springfield, MA "shuttle." At this point in time, many of the MARC / B&O RDCs had a real problem with leaking diesel exhaust into their interior, making them less than pleasant to ride in. IF I understand correctly, the former MARC mid-train coach has been re-united with the 2 "cab-unit" RDCs and are now "somewhere in New England."

Second car was the New Haven 162, the last mid-train car of the Roger Williams RDC set.
