A nifty piece of rolling stock....the proportions make this look like broad gauge.

Fantastic photo Howard - at first glance of the photo, I was wondering why a San Francisco Cable Car was crossing a bridge and how was it able to? Then I read the caption and found out it's just "Daisy" crossing the Capitola Trestle. Great vantage point - and the perspective does make it look like Broad Gauge.

Handsome photograph although I suspect this diminutive vehicle is a source of stress to local bicycle advocates who want to appropriate portions of this railroad for a bike trail. It does look like broad gage until you notice the operator is almost as wide as half the car.

Looks can be deceiving, but Daisy is standard gauge. The custom motorcar was built on a Fairmont A4E chassis.
