First the Virginian, then the N&W, then New Haven, then the PC, and finally Conrail. The E-33s certainly had a wide array of owners! Another great image Bob! I never get tired of these electric freight pictures!

It was GE's experience in building big electrics that laid the foundation for moving into [and eventually dominating] the big diesel market. GE also learned a great deal from its past partnership with ALCO, imho.
