I new a Santa Fe Transportation Inspector that worked for the Santa Fe out of Temple, TX in the early 1970s, and he never told me about those Santa Fe FP7s in the 800 series numbers. They never showed up in Texas on Santa Fe's "Texas Chief", did they. Perhaps the lead unit is ATSF F7 304L.

It doesn't look long enough to be an FP, and the numberboard has some glare that makes it look like it says '884,' but it is in fact 304L.
