Nice photo Matt - love the crispness of this one. One question about the car: What is the purpose of the windshield with wiper above the rear platform? Surely a crew employee isn't up there, as I can only guess that it's for a video camera or other device? I'm curious.

There is a camera mounted in the box above the rear platform. Car was spotted this morning (2/25/2016 at Washington's Union Station.

Another crisp Phase III paint-job going into service. Regarding the "turret" for the camera, I think it makes the end of this car look cumbersome. Given advances in camera technology, I would think that the camera box could be reworked to not be so big, ugly, and bulky.
