Wow that is nice! And done correctly too, with proper lights and horn reinstalled. They sure should be proud of saving and restoring that unit.

They did a good job on the unit, it's nice to have an SCL painted unit out there! But technically, as-delivered, the SD45's did not have "Pulling for you!" painted on the battery boxes. The first units with that slogan applied as-delivered were the 10 SD45-2's they got in 1972.

This is one beautiful SD45! I've never seen such a clean & beautiful locomotive. Being restored as Seaboard Coast Line makes it that much better. Thanks, Mark, for sharing such a great shot.
