Excellent picture & location. Looks like it would be pretty rail-fan friendly with the bike trail & fence right next to it. Only issue might be a lack of 'facilities' or food/beverage. Would be curious to know, too, the amount of traffic that this area sees - figuring that it wouldn't be a lot.

You're unfortunately correct, Luke. There is very little daylight traffic that operates through this area, but thankfully, Reading & Northern operates excursion trains from Jim Thorpe to Old Penn Haven (about fives miles into the gorge) on weekends and holidays in May-December. As for eating facilities, downtown Jim Thorpe is not more than five minutes from this spot. Thanks for looking!
