Of ALL the various Amtrak runs that have been discontinued over the years, this train and the Ogden - Seattle Pioneer are the 2 I would MOST like to see restored. Even IF the "National" was only operated between NY and St Louis.

Agreed Rich- it would be a lot more convenient for us Easterners to visit paces like Southern Illinois and Columbus, Ohio if Amtrak's National Limited route was still in existence.
