Outstanding image! PCA nominated, this caught my eye immediately for a good reason. Well done.

Thank you Steve! I am very proud of this one as it was my first sunset photo.

My sentiments echo Steve Zachowski's Brett - beautiful shot, and perfect lighting. Well done, and also a PCA vote from me. Although, I would advise you to revise your comment about: "The exhaust has filled the valley..." I would change it to: "The exhaust mingles with the evening mist that is slowly settling over the valley..." Wouldn't want someone from the EPA start complaining about "Those 'NASTY' emissions"! :-)

I agree with the above comments - very nicely captured and composed, Brett. Sun at your back? Ha, that's for amateurs - not that it doesn't have its earned appeal and place in the world of railfan photography!

Exceptional photo Brett. PCA from me as well.

Very well done Brett! Love how the smoke from the engines when the sun hits it creates a subtle mist, tricking me to think it was actually mist.
