Great nighttime view. My dad had an all-black '55 DeSoto- I remember standing in the back around age 5, looking over the front seat as we drove along. Today, fortunately, most people (myself included) always wear seat belts and use child seats. I think seat belts (lap belts only) may have been an option in some of the older cars, but I don't remember if our DeSoto had them.
