It just seems that, despite being a TRULY Magnificent space inside, especially the stained glass skylight and full-length bench lamps, Hoboken Terminal suffers from what you might call "Rodney Dangerfield Syndrome" in that it "can't get no respect" from the rest of the world. Maybe that's 'cause it ONLY a "Commuter station in Jersey." Perhaps IF you could STILL get trains here to Cleveland and Chicago, more people would pay attention to its classic beauty. Either way, it's well worth taking the time to visit and enjoy taking a good look at.

It will always be a sacred place for me, from the years when I rode trains to and from the station and Binghamton, Buffalo, Jamestown, and Chicago. It may be just a commuter station in New Jersey now, but what great memories I have of it when it was so much more--the portal to never to be forgotten railroad adventures in my youth and young adulthood.
