A moving train on the CGR? Wow!! That must have been rare event. 'Makes me wonder how much of the line is passible.

They run this train four times a weekend from the museum at Campo down to the border at Division - about nine track miles. The track on this section is in fair shape (good enough for a museum train) but it is not going to handle the freight loads that the PIR envisions in their business propaganda. The rest of the line to PPlaster City is a disaster (there is a bridge east of Campo that won't even hold the weight of the museum train, the yard at Jacumba and at Dos Cabezas has turnout issues and the derailment at Dubbers is still fouling the main. Further, there are rocks and debris on the tracks in the gorge (nothing major) but one cannot take a speeder or a hi-rail vehicle between Goat Canyon and Jacumba at this point. Perhaps things will change as the PIR recently moved the shells of their management team around again and again are claiming that cross border traffic is in the works.
