Does anyone know why #4449 wasn't steaming? I've seen videos of it's 1976 run for the bicentennial celebration in New Orleans. It looks fantastic with the Daylight paint scheme on all the cars in the consist. That truly was the worlds most beautiful train.

4449 was steaming, but it doesn't show in this photo. The diesel helpers were only added to tackle the Tehachapi grade.
