Chattanooga does and did a very fine job. That said, had this paint job been done in Altoona we would have had the irony of a reversal in history; in a place where so many classic paint schemes fell to the "blues" one came back the right way.

Not only am I amazed that NS painted an Erie Lackawana paint scheme, I'm also amazed NS has an SD45-2 still on the roster (unless its an SD45-2 on the outside and something new inside).

You guys show everyone else how it's done. Union Pacific showed how it was done back in the 2000's, but you guys are certifiably insane. And I'm saying that in a good way.

Well the horn location isn't authentic, but I bet the train crews appreciate that! We'll take it, and as many more as you care to do!

A very handsome locomotive indeed. Yeah, differences are the horn is set back and the main reservoirs are buried somewhere out of sight due to the larger fuel tank. But I'm not complaining!

Well, the fuel tank was ordered that way by the EL.

Yup, those fuel tanks are original EL spec...I always did wonder where they tucked away those air reservoirs though...
