Nice photo Whit - and a remarkable comeback for a locomotive that has been dormant for over 50 years. Actually - I must correct you on the length of restoration for this locomotive. Being a former volunteer with the HVSR myself - they started the restoration in 2000 - and 15 years later they finished and got a fire in her belly. Many accolades go out to the HVSR volunteers, sponsors, and a few other parties for putting in the long hours and years to put Baldwin built 0-6-0 No. 3 back into operational condition. Now - the Hocking Valley Scenic Railroad in Nelsonville, OH is the ONLY tourist railroad in Ohio with an operational steam locomotive once again and they own it personally.
