Thats just a shop mule.. basicly, a truck with traction motors, and a bunch of batteries that can be recharged, anda small air compressor to charge the brakes...all with very rudementry remote control. These things are rather common around large shops where the need to move engines around inside without creating fumes is a must...

At Enola, they call it the "Bug". (or at least they used to back in the Conrail era). This one was designed by Ron Delevan, now of RMDI, when he was an electrical engineer at Conrail. I helped him out with the proper ballasting and tractive effort calculations.
It originally had a tethered remote control. Is it wireless now?
