Nice photo! Looks like a neat view of a feed water check valave and the front end throttle valve. I'll bet there were many maintenance men back in the steam era that cursed the steam lining shrouding.

Think how pretty she could be without all that extra stuff. Give me pipes and valves and all that other plumbing.

A fantastic detail shot!! It is interesting to see the paint treatment of the foot plate at left center.
