Thanks John! The weather was certainly a bit rough, but serves us right going in July! I didn't know about this log train working, we were just here shooting suburban sets and it was kind enough to show up in the middle.

This train is 125 from Whangarei and is the only daylight freight southbound so real lucky for you to get it as it's often cancelled and rare to be hauled by DXB (GE U26C) as most of these locomotives run in South Island now. Now with the cessation of passenger trains beyond Swanson, trains 125 and 126 are the only trains to pass through this historic tunnel in daylight.
