Looks weird not having that lower height mid-section. Add in that weird hump before the vents at the back, and you have GEs that keep getting uglier. Nice catch though!

Lots of changes since the C40-8W was manufactured in 1991. How many visual differences can you spot? These include the nose door, front grab irons, number boards, auxiliary (ditch) lights, trucks, dynamic brake vents, air intake, hood profile, radiator arrangement, shape of the fuel tank

And 7758 is a C40-8W a veteran of over 20 yrs. of service.
