I remember seeing an old black and white photo of a double ended F type locomotive that was tested for a time in the US. I don't recall what railroad had it though. Possibly PRR, but don't hold me to that.

Kibu: Central Railroad of New Jersey used Baldwin DRX 6-4-2000 in commuter services which had a cab at both ends.... (after a quick interweb search)
