The AWVR stood for Allegheny & West Virginia Railway? It just seems logical. Also being a fan of the movie, # 1206 is stated as having 5,000 HP. We know by looking at this loco that it's an SD40-2 & that it's rated at 3,000 HP. Huge mistake. It's not a GE U50C, which originally went to Union Pacific or Southern Pacific, or an EMD SD80MAC that originally went to Conrail. Why do they have to dumb the audience down? Love the WE 6353. Especially in Speed Lettering.
