The 19th century was rather unscrupulous for a few of the railroads. Both the Central Pacific & Union Pacific did some doctoring of the books during the time of the Transcontinental Race. I guess the KP was also a bit dubious. That kind of "creative thinking". Bill, thanks for the story line. Great pic.
